Frequently asked questions

This handy list of FAQs should answer any questions you may have about Stowaway Festival. Please read them carefully before getting in touch.

Site Opening Times

The campsite opens on Friday 16th August at 10:00am. On arrival you’ll be given a wristband which grants access to the event. The festival ends on Monday 19th August at 12:00 noon, and we ask that all festival-goers vacate the camping area by this time at the latest.

Will I be able to re enter site, if I leave during the day?

We hope you won’t want to, and we try and ensure you won’t need to. However, as you enter the festival you will be issued with a wristband and you will need to show this to re-enter the site if you leave. No re-entry between 23:00 – 08:00.

Do you have day tickets?

With so much on across the weekend, we don’t offer day tickets to the festival, as we want to make sure everyone gets to experience all we have to offer. Why not join us for the weekend instead?

Are there water points on site?

Yes there are plenty free water points located around the festival arena and campsite. Just bring a reusable bottle/container to fill up.

Can I bring Alcohol with me?

Each person is allowed to bring the 12 cans of beer/lager/cider OR 2 plastic bottles of wine. No spirits or glass bottles are allowed. Please remember any personal alcohol brought to the event is only for consumption within the campsite and not the entertainment areas.

Challenge 25

We will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy at Stowaway Festival. If you can’t provide valid identification when asked by a member of staff, you will be asked to leave the site and come back with your ID. So if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification.

Valid forms of ID include:

  • An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional licence.
  • A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted.
  • A Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card (showing the PASS hologram).
Can I withdraw cash on site?

We do not have ATM’s on-site. We advise that you bring any cash you need with you. All bars & food traders will take card payments.

Can I stay over?

All weekend tickets include access to the campsite. We also have boutique camping options and live-in vehicle camping facilities. These are not covered by your weekend tickets, so make sure to purchase your weekend tickets as well as these add-ons. You can find out more about our Glamping options here.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets or animals are allowed on site with the exception of registered guide dogs. If you are bringing a registered guide dog to the event, please read more about this in our accessibility section.

I want to bring my babe in arms, do they need a ticket?

Children under the age of two can attend the festival for free. However they will need a ticket, please make sure you select a free ticket at the checkout.

Are there phone charging facilities on site?

There’s so much going on you won’t need to look at your phone. However, if your phone does run out of juice, we have a limited number of phone charging banks available to purchase at our info point.
